Business Assurance and Risk Manager

Preston, Lancashire, United Kingdom, £ £ 36000.00-41900.00 Annual Annual, Permanent

Business Assurance and Risk Manager
£35.6k - £41.9k dependent on experience
Lancashire, North West England

A well established and successful Housing Association passionate about creating the best environment for their residents is currently looking for a new Business Assurance and Risk Business Partner to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a new position to the organisation, and we are excited to be working with them while they look to develop their Assurance, Business and Continuity team. This role is taking the lead and managing risk whilst supporting the wider company and comes with the support of the Head of Business Assurance who until recently had been wholly responsible for this requirement.

This is a permanent, full time, position because of changing business needs and the significant commitment and investment in a new risk management software, pentana.

This organisation is very open to discuss a working pattern to suit you and operate agile and flexible working to promote their staff and people achieving a work-life balance.

In order to be a successful applicant for this position you will have recent experience of working in a risk management and business continuity environment. You will understand the breadth of risk and potential incidents that could affect a housing association like this and feel very comfortable communicating those issues to a range of people at all levels of our business.

You want a role that is hands-on and where you can take the lead on operational actions and get things done which will be welcomed in the team. You might describe yourself as a \'doer\', analytical and detailed with a depth of experience that reassures your colleagues.

This organisation is ready and waiting for your feedback, contribution and support. An understanding of the housing or public sector and a regulated environment is certainly beneficial but your skills and behaviours are more important to us.

It\'s a really good feeling knowing that the work you are doing has a positive impact on people and their local communities. This organisation provides quality homes to support independent living for those who need our help.

This organisation is more than a housing provider and consider themselves unique in the sector because they make a difference to people\'s lives in so many ways.

This organisation is also committed to promoting diverse and inclusive communities in the workplace and through everything they do. They are interested in your skills, talent and potential.

If you want to progress your career with a social purpose, please call Hannah Quinn on (phone number removed) or email (url removed) and we will happily discuss the client and further requirements as well as sharing any supporting information.
