Credit Risk Analyst

Description:

Obtain approvals on credit files for new and existing customer both on a National and International level using the credit reference agency software and ensure credit limit is in place for all customers. You will assess both customer and country risk and continue to review risks at regular intervals.

A Global industrial/ manufacturing company based in Chester are looking to recruit a credit risk analyst for a 12 month contract to ensure all new and existing clients are credit checked to company guidelines and credit limits are set in place.

You will join a large accountancy team and be based in the large credit team for a fixed term of 12 months minimum.

This client is an internationally recognised brand and so will offer the best training to new staff joining the team.

Description

The Credit Risk Analyst will be responsible for

Setting up new customer files and ensure all billing information is correct.
Ensuring all customers have a credit limit in place with company guidelines and this is reviewed and corrected at regular intervals
Review legal contracts and check for any potential compliance risk
Assess country riskProfile

The successful Credit Risk Analyst candidate will be:

Proven track record in credit control
Some credit risk exposure
Ideally have some exposure to assessing country risk
Able to commit to 12 month contract
Ideally start within the next 2 week period but some flexibility
Chase payment in line with agreed payment terms
Run and action credit holds
Provide monthly aged debt reports and overdue reports
Highlight any compliance issues to the Group Credit Manager.Job Offer
