A great opportunity has arisen for a permanent position in Luton with a company who is going through an exciting transition period.


8.30am to 5.30pm 1 hour lunch

Hybrid working Home and office on a rota bases.


To manage the new account set up process from the initial credit request through to the client account allocation for our business lines.

Ensure DOA matrix and processes are followed and adhered to for all matters in relation to credit risk.
Build internal and external relationships with Key stakeholders.
Support the Credit Risk and Allocations Manager to complete regular reviews for risk and our credit insurance policy.
Continuous improvement and identifying best practices and effective business controls which will positively impact business results.
Contribute towards a monthly indicator dashboard for risk for control , performance, strategic, where exceptions are identified.Priorities

To offer credit limit recommendations on all new Client applications for our business lines.
Manage our high risk clients with stopping or blocking new temp placements and liaising with Operations on a daily basis up to Senior Directors within Operations.
Contribute to information for risk reports reviewed by Senior Management.
Regular credit evaluations on all Client accounts that have traded within the last twelve months.
Explore all functionality of our credit agencies so to maximise performance for our financial package so to mitigate risk and avoid any bad debts.
Submit bad debt recharges for insolvencies.
To provide financial guidance to all Branches based on Client status.
To obtain necessary financial data and business information to enable a robust credit evaluation to be made.
To highlight negative trends shown by the analysis of a specific Clients financial.
To evaluate credit information and increase / decrease for business lines with evidence to support any decisions made.
Complete monthly insurance reporting in line with credit policy guidelines and monthly commentary for aged clients.
Attend regular credit insurance review meetings with our broker and underwriter.
Apply for endorsed credit limit via the insurance portal - once authorised by Senior Management.
Generation of monthly risk dashboard with risk trends and analysis.
Be conversant with the needs of the business and make credit decisions supporting these.
To accompany other company officials on Client visits as deemed necessary.
To make recommendations on ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the department.
Lead on our credit agencies for new products and offerings which support risk.
Attend and present risk to new starters.
Responsible for delivering an excellent financial service to our Clients whilst optimising cash collections targets.
Act as a resource to the Credit Control Team providing guidance and assistance as appropriate.
Maintaining Credit Management system after weekly invoice integration's.
Liaising and building relationships with all key stakeholders internal and external.
New account set up process from start to finish including tagging of new child accounts in our credit management systems.
Managing Credit limit Alerts / amendments in line with company risk guidelines keeping appropriate business units informed of changes on a daily basis.
Company registered legal entity checks.
Director and group company checks.
Ad Hoc credit limit checks as required by the business and internal teams.
