Customer Verification Risk Analyst Specialist

As a Customer Verification Risk Analysis (CVRA) Specialist you will be responsible for delivering effective risk assessments to protect the business from financial threats relating to syndicated activity.

We are looking for bright, inquisitive and enthusiastic people to join the CVRA department at our offices based in Staffordshire.
You will be responsible for identifying and mitigating the risk of syndicated activity, while ensuring genuine customers are able to utilise the full product range on offer.

The role is full time, working any 5 days from 7 including evenings and Bank Holidays.

Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience

• Educated to degree level or experience in a fraud and risk prevention role.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Analytical and enjoys problem solving.
• Ability to multi-task as part of a fast paced environment; working both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer literacy including a good working knowledge of Excel, Outlook and Word and other MS Office products.
• Interest in fraud management and related regulatory requirements including Know Your Customer (KYC).

Main Responsibilities

• Analysing alerts from risk controls.
• Identifying matches to known syndicate profiles.
• Recognising new profiles and recommending action with supporting data.
• Reviewing and approving customer withdrawals.
• Verifying KYC documents.
• Contacting customers via email.
