Cyber Risk Senior Manager - London, Bristol, Edinburgh, Halifax

Here in the Conduct, Compliance and Operational Risk (CCOR) team we seek to improve control and enable sustainable growth for Lloyds Banking Group through delivery of dedicated support and constructive challenge to the business.

We have responsibility for business oversight and assurance activities in relation to Conduct, Compliance and Operational Risk; in addition to implementing the Conduct Strategy, managing the People Risk agenda, liaison with regulators and managing Insurable Risks for the Group.

  • As Senior Manager, you\'ll be responsible for the oversight of Cyber Risk reporting to the Head of Operational Resilience and Security Risk.
  • You\'ll engage with key partners in the Chief Security Office, providing SME insight, appropriate advice and developing divisional understanding of security risks across the Group.
  • You\'ll have the opportunity to provide an independent opinion on the businesses\' management of risk, challenging areas of mitigation or control weakness, and actively identifying and coordinating assurance activities based on the current and future risk profile of the business.
  • You\'ll be required to provide verbal and written briefings to senior CCOR colleagues on areas of security risk.
  • You\'ll be required to provide 2LOD opinions in line with Executive and Board level presentations on Cyber Risk.
  • A key role will be the participating in the management of the business unit\'s relationships with internal and external audit; regulator and industry bodies.

Skills and experience required:

  • You\'ll be an excellent communicator (verbal and written) and will be expected to provide high quality presentations to the Group Operational Risk Director and senior partners in the Chief Security Office.
  • You\'ll be expected to build strong relationships across the Chief Security Office and the wider Risk team, manage stakeholders and be able to support and challenge senior executives.
  • You\'ll be an expert in your field and will demonstrate a thorough knowledge of cyber risk within financial services.
  • A broad understanding of relevant legislation and regulation affecting security within financial services and an understanding of the relevant risk management frameworks.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies and associated vulnerabilities and risks.
  • Thorough understanding of cyber threats and how they affect financial services.
  • Analytical skills and thought leadership to be able to identify and challenge on key areas of cyber risk.
  • Be able to influence and contribute to the overall business strategy and objectives.
  • Develop bespoke and innovate approaches to make sure that security risks are a core part of strategic programmes.
  • You\'ll ideally hold CISSP, CRISC, CISM, ISO27k lead auditor or similar.

Experience of conducting cyber risk assessments, preferably within banking or financial services organisations is essential.
