Engineering & Project Risk Surveyor
South East - Home Working reporting to Bristol office.
CSL Global is seeking a risk engineer with expertise and experience in the infrastructure project space and with the ability to conduct other engineering surveys including machinery movement and heavy lift. Key areas of project focus include power (including renewable energy), gas, petrochemical, mining. The company is also looking to further develop capabilities and experience with health & safety related roles would create opportunities to broaden the job scope.
Training is available to expand and enhance skills and increase job role scope.

Key aspects of the surveyor role:
* conducting onsite risk surveys to review and assess the physical condition/ integrity of review of operational and maintenance practice and procedures from a risk management perspective.
* performing desktop risk assessments.
* meeting with clients (insurance underwriters and other project stakeholders) to understand and discuss the engineering risk management aspects of the project.
* working closely with the project cargo and transportation team to provide technical input, add value to the overall business offering and grow the business.
Job requirements:
* Chartered engineer
* Degree (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline
* Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and write coherent reports
* Prepared to travel worldwide to attend assignments
* Risk or Insurance Industry knowledge / experience would be helpful

The company original focused on providing marine risk management surveys services to a traditional client base of multi-national insurers; over the past 5 years, the service offering has expanded to include engineering risk management, security and cyber security risk management
