We are looking for an Enterprise Risk Manager to join us at Leonardo in our UK Electronics Business Unit at either Edinburgh or Luton sites. The UK Electronics Business Unit is a global leader in defence electronics and delivers mission critical systems for situational awareness, electronic warfare and surveillance across land, sea and air.

An Enterprise Risk Manager is required to support the implementation of Leonardo's best practice Enterprise Risk Management process in the Business Unit.

The Enterprise Risk Manager will work with the senior leadership team, including Heads of Functions and Business Area leads, in implementing value added, high quality Enterprise Risk Management.

As an Enterprise Risk Manager, you will have the opportunity to help protect the business plan and strategy by:

- Conducting risk interviews with process owners and business area leads.
- Identify and evaluate risks (Threats and Opportunities) within our business plans and processes.
- Work with the risk owner to identify an appropriate risk strategy and action plan.
- Manage mitigation actions through to closure, including recording evidence for auditing purposes.
- Generate and present risk reporting to the senior leadership team, various councils and committees and corporate.
- Plus additional activities as required on a day-to-day basis

What you will do:
- Be the subject matter expert on our Leonardo Enterprise Risk Management procedure and processes.
- Champion the risk culture across the sites, through regular companywide communication and 'Lunch and Learns'.
- Organise and facilitate risk assessments at business area, function and divisional level.
- Analyse the impact and probability of risks against the business plan or KPIs.
- Support the Risk owners in Risk treatment, in compliance with corporate appetite.
- Manage and Evidence the completion and closure of treatment actions.
- Update the company risk management system and analyse Monte Carlo S-Curves.
- Support governance by presenting the risk portfolio in our forums and councils.
- Monitor Key Risk Indicators and conduct trend analysis across risk portfolio.
- Generate site and UK reports, meeting the corporate reporting timetable.

What we are looking for:
- Ability to influence and communicate with Senior Stakeholders
- Prior experience managing Operational or Enterprise Risks
- Understanding of Monte Carlo analysis and ability to read and articulate S-Curves
- Prior experience with strategy or business planning
- Highly numerate with experience of statistical and financial modelling
- High competency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
- Candidates must have a right to work within the UK
- Role will involve occasional travel to other Leonardo sites in the UK, Europe, America and Canada
