Financial Risk Analyst Manager UK FX/CFD Broker

Description:

The position is responsible for the:

* Financial risk management of the Global business - including credit risk, market and liquidity risk, capital adequacy and operational risk

* Risk oversight, monitoring and reporting over the operational and financial risks of the Group

* Engaging with different businesses to identify, assess and review key Group risks

* Regularly review and assess the relevant risk policies and procedures and registers to ensure regulatory compliance and effective risk management is maintained.

* Providing analytical reporting for senior management

* Providing support to the Head of Risk

Major Responsibilities and Requirements

* 2nd line risk oversight and monitoring of the Group\'s financial risks to ensure the appropriate processes, policies, limits and controls are in place to protect the company as BAU and for unforeseen issues.

* Risk identification, assessment and evaluation: analysing current risks and identifying potential risks that are affecting the company, evaluating controls and development and implementation of enhancements, including technical solutions.

* Market risk quantitative analysis and reporting - CVAR & NOP

* Credit risk analysis and reporting, and maintenance and review of the financial counterparty risk assessment register

* Building out analytical monitoring tools for greater insight - stress testing

* Reviewing and implementing risk management policies and procedures for the business

* Establishment and management of financial risk mitigation systems and processes, monitoring, controls and reporting

* Supporting management and different businesses to understand the risks under their control and to assist them to develop effective control mechanisms and enhance the risk management culture.

* Ability to liaise with senior management and staff, external auditors, regulators and other parties as required

* The ability to provide quantitative and analytical reporting for executive visibility and to improve decision making

* Ability to work independently and manage your workload

* Organised, capable and able to meet tight deadlines and make decisions effectively but swiftly in a fast-moving environment

* Provide subject matter expertise as a trusted advisor to the business when evaluating new markets, products, systems, vendors or projects
