My client, a specialist UK based Engineering and Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Flood Risk Consultant to join an expanding Water and Environmental Team based in Leeds.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background including a MSc and/or BSc in Hydrology, Environmental Management or Engineering and have experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments and Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller Pro and Tuflow.

Applicants are required to live or relocate to Leeds.

It is beneficial for applicants to have experience completing drainage strategies or drainage design using Microdrainage.

This exciting role will involve supporting and managing Projects for the Flood Risk Team in Leeds. Candidates will be required to complete varied Hydrological, Surface Water, Flood Risk and Hydraulic Modelling Projects for Private Sector Clients, Local Authorities and Water Companies.

As a Flood Risk Consultant you will be required to complete technical work including Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications, Drainage Strategies, Drainage Designs using Microdrainage, Flood Estimation using ReFH and Hydraulic Modelling, Model Build and Verification using Flood Modeller Pro and Tuflow.
