Governance Manager - Risk and SI

Description:

A large Healthcare organisation is looking to appoint a Governance Manager - Risk and SI. This is an interim post for 8+ weeks working in the West Midlands area. 2/3 days per week will be required to work on site and the rest will be remote working.

Depending on experience, the post will be between a Band 8a- 8b, working inside IR35.

Management of the incident system, supporting the RCA process and Serious Incidents.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate excellent working knowledge of serious incidents within a healthcare setting;
  • Effectively ensure timely and comprehensive investigations of serious incidents;
  • Manage and respond to contentious/complex serious incidents;
  • Management of Risk and Risk Registers;
  • Maintain a confidential approach to all issues, handling them with appropriate sensitivity and
  • Professionalism;
  • Apply Root Cause Analysis practices and processes, conducting an end to end serious incident investigation process;
  • In-depth report writing.
A successful candidate will have:
  • Extensive expertise working within a healthcare organisation;
  • Robust, demonstratable experience utilising Root Cause Analysis process in relation to SI's;
  • Exceptional report writing skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
