Group FP&A Manager | Rapidly Scaling Cyber Security & Risk Advisory Firm | London/Remote

The Client

Harmonic Finance are excited to be working with an incredibly exciting high tech Risk Advisory consultancy offering insight and rapid response in a range of areas including cyber security through to corporate risk including operational risk in dangerous jurisdictions and terror threat risk mitigation!

They provide genuinely invaluable protection and prevention services with unrivalled global reach and have secured significant investment in scaling the business towards management and advisory of '21st Century risk' putting them on track to see substantial increases in revenue from a current £300m.

This is a newly created role in the Group FP&A team to support the existing team of 4 to continuously improve processes, reporting and business partnering across the company. The team and leadership are very impressive and culturally a great bunch with ambitions to help scale the business to be the global leader in the field. There is of course the added benefit that business is genuinely 'doing good' for their clients and continuously pushing the boundaries in terms of new and creative solutions.

The role

As the FP&A Manager this is a chance to gain fantastic exposure to the wider business liaising and business partnering with regional and divisional teams and presenting insightful MI and analysis to Group Leadership.

The key theme that underpins this role is one of process improvement, change and transformation. The client is keen for someone to join the business that is excited about improving processes and improving the quality of FP&A, Business Partnering and cost reporting metrics as they grow.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the production of Forecasting, Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for a number of regional and divisional P&Ls.
  • Business partnering with senior stakeholders and presenting of data.
  • Continued improvement and development of insightful MI and analysis for Group ExCo.
  • Proactively building relationships with regional and divisional Finance teams to understand key commercial drivers and metrics.
  • Responsible for the production of consolidated group budgeting and forecasting.
  • Work alongside the Head of FP&A with projects to improve cost reporting and cost allocation.
  • New revenue recognition approaches.
  • Analyse large volumes of Data (in Excel) and overtime look at ways to automate and improve the process.
  • Extensive ad-hoc projects (both system and commercial).

What we need to see (Essential):

  • Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA.
  • Experience at a Group level within a FP&A Manager/ Senior FP&A role.
  • Strong Business Partnering experience.
  • Proactive working style and keen to build relationships with people across the business.
  • Incredibly ambitious with a desire to continue to learn.
  • Excellent Communicator.
  • Demonstrable experience of process improvement.

What we'd like to see (Non-Essential):

  • Experience with Data Modelling.
  • Experience using data visualisation tools such as Power BI.
  • Professional Services experience beneficial.

Location: London (Remote initially and circa 3 days a week moving forward)

Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 + Bonus
