Badenoch + Clark is pleased to be working on behalf of a leading Housing Association, based in London, recruiting for a Head of Risk & Compliance.

As Head of Risk & Compliance you will lead operational risk management and reduction, compliance and policy work for the Customer Services Directorate. Furthermore, you will be accountable for all regulatory compliance and statutory assurance/monitoring activity for which the directorate is responsible and will own all risk frameworks at a directorate level.

Principle duties will include:
*Spearheading audit action plans and recommendations relating to Customer Services
*Operating as the accountable person for all external reviews and investigations, such as serious case reviews and domestic homicide reviews
*Being the accountable person for all safeguarding concerns raised regarding colleagues
*Leading, along with the Risk Manager, the development of new approaches to risk identification and management across the directorate, and ongoing use of risk registers and frameworks
*Supporting the Quality Assurance Manager in the development of a QA Framework and directorate-wide approach to quality assuring services
*Partnering with relevant operational colleagues to develop a holistic understanding of themes coming from contract monitoring, CQC monitoring and internal QA activity

The successful candidate will hold a broad and high-quality understanding of housing, care and local public service delivery landscapes. You will also hold the demonstrable ability to provide strategic direction and leadership in response to regulatory environments across diverse sectors and regulators.
