This is a great opportunity to join a Financial business to help shape & design the Risk & Compliance function of the business as they begin their scaling up plans. This role requires a strong Risk & Compliance specialist who can work closely with a very dynamic and innovative management team, in order to meet future goals and an ever-changing financial landscape.

Role:

Design, implement and manage the Risk & Compliance Control Systems.
Monitor the efficiency of the processes, policies and systems in place and ensure continuous improvement to meet the high standards of the business.
Ensure the business is taking a risk-based approach to their growth plans and Product / Service development.
Be responsible for all 'Operational Risks' across the business.
Work closely with business heads on ensuring Risk & Compliance culture is positive and commercially focused.
Requirement to Draft and Modify all internal and external policies.
Regulatory horizon scanning and ensure the business is up to date and aware of all current and upcoming regulations, as well as changes to existing Risk & Compliance Frameworks and Guidance

Skills & Experience

Strong Knowledge of the Consumer Credit & Payment Industry in respect of Regulations, Processes and Communication.
Senior Risk & Compliance Management experience (10 to 15+ Years).
Proven experience and capability to work in a Financially Regulated & Technology based business.
Able to interact with all appropriate Regulatory Authorities.
Understand the dynamics of an ever-changing landscape across the business and able to adapt and modify.
Solid Commercial & Business acumen.
Able to 'Roll Up Their Sleeves' to meet deadlines and create appropriate standard template documents / rules etc to ensure the business moves forward.
Analytical mindset with a methodical approach to work and good attention to detail
Excellent ability to articulate and strong communication skills
