Legionella Risk Assessor - Greater Manchester

Our client is a national legionella company, is currently looking to recruit an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor based in or around the Greater Manchester area. The successful candidate will be an all-rounder, who has had extensive knowledge and experience of legionella risk assessing and will hold a strong background in remedial plumbing and ACOP L8 compliance. Applications from Warrington, Stockport, Blackpool, Liverpool, and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & experience:

Will ideally have attended an approved Risk Assessment course such as City & Guilds.
Experience of carrying out L8 risk assessments within the water treatment/Water Hygiene industry.
Thorough understanding of commercial water systems, supplies and ACOP L8.
Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out Legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 risk assessments.
Compiling schematic drawings, as well as producing final documents for clients/customers.
Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works and carry out such works as required.
Surveying of water systems and supplies as per ACOP L8.
Repair and servicing of TMV's.
Cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems, cooling towers, tanks cleans etc.
Temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analysing water systems.
Building and maintaining a good working relationship with clients.
