Successful practice in Wiltshire seeks a talented Quality and Risk Manager on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven Quality and Risk Manager to join our client's well-established firm in Swindon. The successful candidate will be responsible for oversight of risk management, best practice and compliance issues.

Responsibilities

Advising on legal service quality, knowledge management, competency, professional compliance and legal service risk management
Acting as deputy COLP and MLRO
Ensuring compliance with Lexcel, AML and CTF requirements
Designing and implementing a client and matter inception process
Reviewing existing guidance, policies and processes
Professional indemnity insurance renewal
Claims and complaints management
Identifying emerging or unmanaged risks in the matter management process
Working with key stakeholders
Managing and improving related intranet pages, precedents and other guidance documents
Analysing complaints, claims and compliance breaches
Reviewing and managing risk and compliance auditing
Designing and providing training on risk, best practice and compliance matters
Responsible for designing and overseeing processes needed to meet
Reporting on SRA competence requirements
Regular travel to other officesThe Candidate

Managers with at least three years' experience in quality and risk matters
Excellent communication skills
IT proficiency and experience of working with IT systems to improve business processes
Excellent understanding of relevant legislative and regulatory regimes
Team player
Willingness to travel regularly between offices
Ability to work in a stand-alone capacityThe Firm
