World Leading Energy Company has an exciting opportunity for a Operational Risk Subject Matter Expert (SME) role within the Trading & Supply Risk Management Approach (RMA) Programme. This role will work to define, design, document and support deployment of the Incident Management Framework Component into the Trading & Supply business.

The Role:

*The priority focus of the role will be the Incident Management process, joining a team that will include staff, consultants and other contractors.
*The role will work closely with the Core Framework Workstream Lead, Operational Risk/Compliance Business Lead and Programme Manager; together with the Business.Integration & Assurance Managers (BIAMs) from LOD1.
*The Risk Management Approach (RMA) Programme of work is complex with multiple workstreams being established to design, build and roll out an Integrated Risk Management Framework.
*An experienced Risk SME is required to increase the depth of knowledge and capacity regarding Operational Risk Management and the level of Risk Management Framework.knowledge in the team.

The Candidate

*Risk SME that has worked in an Operational Risk Function of a large Energy/Commodities trading/or a Consultancy.
*Has experience of and understands Operational Risk Management & Compliance Frameworks.
*Has experience of best practices re the Incident/Risk Event Management process.
* Able to define and document Incident Management principles/standards/best practice guidelines.
*Has experience working with LoD1 teams and LoD2 functions (Operational Risk & Compliance)
*Experience of writing Operational Risk Policies in a structured way would be beneficial.
*Knowledge of standardising taxonomies (in particular Cause', Incident type', Impact') would be beneficial
*Experience of translating business process into requirements for system selection/configuration
