Draken Europe are recruiting for a PMO Risk, Assurance & Controls Manager, responsible for leading and managing overall assurance, risk and control across the bid portfolio of Draken Europe programmes and projects to ensure they deliver the agreed scope within planned quality, time and cost parameters, to satisfy the specified requirements and drive for organisational engagement, customer and stakeholder satisfaction. Motivating the BD, PMO and wider teams to support programme and project management control to deliver results collaboratively and in line with business case and margins expected.

This position is based at our Bournemouth International Airport site and requires occasional travel. The position is offered as an initial 24 month fixed term contract.

As a PMO Risk Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

* Knowledge and demonstrable experience of PPM techniques and tools

* Demonstrable knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015) with reference to PMO governance, implementation and management

* Diploma in Quality Management Systems

* IRCA Lead Auditor

* Chartered Quality Professional

* Strong compliance background

* Knowledge of key deliverables including: -

* PMO Risk, Assurance and Controls framework

* PMO Governance strategy

* PMO Quality Assurance register

* PMO RAID logs

* PMO Risk, Assurance and Controls Dashboard

As a PMO Risk Manager your main responsibilities will involve:

* Adapt & communicate the framework for PMO Risk, Assurance & Control and Governance to ensure project objectives and success criteria are delivered consistently across the group

* Ensure through the development of robust processes that key programme and product quality assurance activities are built into the programme/project plans as appropriate

* Provide PMO leadership and support

* Improve the quality and robustness of project governance through the development of process, procedural and guidance documentation in accordance with the QMS and ensure that those processes are followed

* Deliver business improvement through internal / external audit and the application of investigative tools such as root cause analysis

* Managing / assessing external third parties, ensuring their adherence to corporate policies and governance

* Ensure the application and maintenance of project controls including risk and issue management, change requests, configuration management, decision and action log maintenance

* Take responsibility for personal development ensuring that a personal development plan is maintained at all times

* Build excellent working relationships with key stakeholders across the business to ensure a good working knowledge of the business

* Report on progress on risk, assurance & control activities
