Portfolio Risk Manager. Risk Management Lead, MoR, QRSA, QCRA, required by our high profile public sector client based in London. Remote work with occasional travel to London to attend meetings.

Daily Rate 450-550 in scope of IR35

To provide effective and professional risk management support to the Portfolio, delivering risk and value management support.

This is a key role for the Portfolio Management Office that will operate within the context of organisational change and a politically complex environment.

The successful candidate must be able to lead at a functional level, provide leadership and guidance in the concept of Risk Management and maintain the appropriate and effective application to both all stages of Portfolio/project life cycle and with an awareness of operational team activities.

Manage risk reviews and be an expert in all aspects of project and business risk management facilitation identification, assessment, and ownership of risks (both threats and opportunities) and issues.To provide strategic knowledge of risk management applications, including Xactium and Primavera Risk Analysis.

Produce products relating to risk such as Risk Registers, Value Management, Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA) and Quantitative Cost Risk Analysis (QCRA). Coach and support project managers within the Portfolio on Risk Management best practises.

Provide leadership on all portfolio risk management, ensuring appropriate principles are applied and maintained at all RIBA stages.

In partnership with the Head of Risk Management, monitor all Portfolio level risks using the tools (eg spreadsheet and automated risk tool) to ensure compliance with risk management procedures and best practice.

Facilitate the QCRA and QSRA workshops as required, recording and reporting on the outputs. Facilitating and delivering risk and value management workshops and training.

Essential

Recognised Advanced or Practitioner level in risk and value management (eg Certified APM Risk Specialist, Axelos Management of Risk (MoR), IRM Certificate of Risk, APM Risk Certificate Levels 12; Value Management certification)

A Risk Management specialist with experience of working on both complex projects, programmes and portfolios and BAU activities.

Experience of delivering Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA) and Quantitative Cost Risk Analysis (QCRA) using standard industry systems such as Predict, Active Risk manager (ARM), Risk or P6.

Project or Portfolio Management qualification - PRINCE2 or Managing Successful Portfolios (MSP).

Desirable

A working knowledge of organisational change initiatives and providing advisory services on a variety of matters including ISO 31000, ISO 27001.

An understanding of the significance of heritage buildings, RIBA stages or construction-related disciplines.
