About you:As a Risk Analyst, you will enjoy being part of a busy, friendly team that provides risk expertise and knowledge across the payments division. Passionate to learn, you will assist in the ongoing monitoring of the portfolio, identifying, reporting and mitigating any merchant issues.Day-to-day, you will: Monitor merchant daily settlements, identifying irregular patterns and taking mitigating actions to minimize the company's exposure to potential financial losses. Conduct merchant transaction, refunds and chargeback activity analysis. Investigate high risk or suspicious transaction activity. Work closely with merchants on chargeback or dispute solutions. Analyse risk alerts and recommend improvements to the risk monitoring system. Set merchant risk parameters to reflect their activity and level of risk exposure. Review reserve holds/releases in line with merchant's risk profile.Your skills and experiences might also include: Previous relevant experience in risk monitoring in a payment processing environment. Knowledge of cards scheme rules and regulations. Proven ability to identify and mitigate risks. Highly productive and self-motivated. Excellent analytical, and problem solving skills.
