Risk & Compliance Manager

A high-growth, Private Equity-backed Technology business is looking to recruit a Risk and Compliance Manager on a permanent basis, based in London but with remote working available. This highly acquisitive company is a leader in the Tech market and this is an opportunity to grow and develop the Risk & Compliance team in line with the company's growth.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will take ownership for driving the implementation of new internal controls and risk processes across all entities in this growing group. As the business continues to make acquisitions, you will grow the risk and compliance team and will be responsible for developing the team and the efficiencies within it.

Responsibilities will include:

* Creating a new internal controls framework to be rolled out group-wide

* Managing and developing the risk and compliance team as well as implementing a successful team structure to support the company's growth

* Working as a key member of the finance team in implementing new systems and process efficiencies

* Developing and enforcing clear risk management controls and compliance as well as maintaining excellent management assurance processes

* Preparing monthly and quarterly executive reporting and inputting to Audit Committee packs, including presenting to the Audit Committee on a quarterly basis

* Partnering with key stakeholders on control testing outcomes and action plans and ensure risk remediation/control improvement objectives are addressed

The successful candidate will be ACA and/or CIA/IIA/IRM qualified with proven experience working in a risk and compliance role. You will have significant experience in implementing new internal controls, risk, and compliance procedures as well as having the confidence to be able to present to senior management including the audit committee. Previous experience working in the technology industry and/or private equity is beneficial but not essential. To succeed in this role, you will have a hands-on approach yet have the ability to lead and develop a high-achieving team.
