JOB TITLE: Risk & Compliance Officer
PQE: Up to 5 years
LOCATION: South Wales
SALARY: £40,000 - £50,000 - DOE

THE ROLE:
You will become a valued member of an internal Risk and Compliance team who are responsible for effectively managing and mitigating risk, enabling the firm to achieve their corporate objectives. The team provide high quality, accessible advice through an understanding of the SRA Code and Conduct, compliance and Solicitors Professional Liability work. The team are responsible for implementing legislation and regulatory changes in a digestible way, promoting and developing best practice and training for the whole business.

THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate will have up to 5 years' experience within Risk and Compliance. The role would suit a candidate with clear knowledge of compliance, AML, internal audits, maintenance of registers, procurement and regulatory matters. Although a legal background is not essential, some experience in professional negligence or litigation would be advantageous. If you are eager to join a highly regarded firm and willing to contribute to business initiatives and progression, this is the ideal role for you.
