We are currently looking for a Risk and Compliance Specialist to join the team based in Milton Keynes. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary plus great benefits.

As our Risk and Compliance Specialist, you will perform and assist in the development of enterprise?level risk management and operational compliance functions.

Main responsibilities as our Risk and Compliance Specialist will require you to:

- Assisting in establishing and maintaining risk policies and programmes to ensure organisational compliance

- Reviewing and setting business, operational and credit risk criteria across the range of segments and products

- Ensuring performance tracking and evaluation

- Being responsible for data gathering or manipulation, report creation, system or process creation and implementation

- Maintaining adherence to all operating regulations and strategies published by the card brands and other legal/regulatory bodies

- Training and engaging team members and leaders

- Developing strong data delivery and reporting

- Monitoring complex legal/regulatory environment and emerging threats and trends in the industry, analysing impact and escalating relevant information/identified risks to management

- Providing guidance and expert advice to less experienced team members

- Conducting assessments and validation activities to verify highly complex operational compliance, identify and evaluate gaps and manage exceptions to policy

- Providing input to improving GRC and technical tools

- Leading highly complex project work with moderate to significant impact and frequently developing innovative solutions

What we're looking for in our Risk and Compliance Specialist:

- A minimum of 6 years' relevant experience

- A Bachelor's Degree, preferably with a major in Business, Criminal Justice or MIS

- Wide-ranging experience

- Someone who uses professional concepts and company objective to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways
