Risk & Value Analyst

Location: Remote working due to Covid (longer term if extended York based)

Contract length: 5 months +

Day rate: £330-£385.00 p/d - depending on Payment route (Ltd/ Umbrella or PAYE).

**This role is in scope of IR35**

Key Accountabilities:
1.Deliver R&VM specialist support services as directed by their line manager and in accordance with R&V Plans and the IP ER&VM Framework. Services include:
- Quantitative Cost &/or Schedule Risk Analyses
- Risk Identification / review workshops/ risk reporting
- Value Management studies
- Technical briefings & mentoring of project teams in R&V Management
2.Carry out Level 1 assurance activities as specified by their line manager
3.Mentor and support junior members of the R&VM team
4.Support R&VM processes in other departments and areas of the business.
5.Drive the implementation of ER&VM framework across their area, including actively enhancing the R&VM maturity and culture development
6.Comply with all relevant NR processes

Job Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Essential
*Expert in all aspects of project and business risk management facilitation.
*Able to build risk models in a number of applications, which accurately represent the complexities of cost, schedule and business risk.
*Able to coach and challenge management and non specialists, the results of risk management.

Desirable
*Membership of the Institute of Risk Management or Association for Project Management Risk Practitioner.
*Membership of the Institute of Value Management.
*Experience in Network Rail\'s project management processes and procedures
