Reducing uncertainty to a tolerable level. We are currently recruiting a Risk Consultant for an ambitious Construction Consultancy.

So why would you want to consider this position?

You will be working extremely closely with a Director who has an aggressive growth plan in place for the service line, looking to double the team in the next 12 months.
A gregarious and warm individual, they will be fully committed to your development whilst being fun to work with
The team very much sets their own direction and have the freedom to develop their own digital tools.
There will be real variety to your work. This is not the type of position where you get seconded to a large PMO and forgotten about
The business has a very flat structure and the leadership is very visible and accessible
There will be requirement for you to carry out Quantitative analysis, but this will be about 30% of the position.
The other 70% of your time will be spent acting in an advisory capacity, helping clients set up large programmes and establish systems
Here is a list of some other things that you will be doing week to week:

Carry out consultancy assignments in a wide range of Construction and Infrastructure sectors
Provide bespoke advice to clients - from analysing data and working with lifecycle models to facilitation of workshops and carrying out feasibility studies
Produce high-quality technical outputs to clients, carrying out research and analysis of data
What do you need to be successful?

Be educated to degree level, ideally in risk management
Have a qualification in project management or risk, such as APM or IRM
Essential that you have experience in working on a large CONSRTUCTION or INFRASTRUCTURE programme
Demonstrable experience in risk management
Exposure to quantitative risk analysis (QCRA and QSRAs)
The salary range is quite wide, say 35,000 to 65,000, as this could be either a development or leadership position. You will also receive a travel allowance, private medical and a paid professional subscription plus the usual annual holiday and pension.
