Our client an engineering technologies company are keen to source a suitably qualified Senior Risk Engineer for their Tyne & Wear based operations. Part of an international organisation the company predominantly work within the Marine, Oil & Gas and Process sectors providing technological solutions.

Due to continued UK growth they are now looking for a suitably qualified Senior Engineer who will work within the groups UK Integrity office team, you will work engineers and technicians at all on commercial client projects as well as internal R&D projects.

Skills Required:
• Proven risk project experience
• Strong background in risk identification, management and mitigation processes
• Experience of facilitating client facing risk workshops
• Ability to develop and implement risk and reliability tools, models and processes
• Solid knowledge of relevant codes, standards and best practices
• An excellent communicator with a track record in delivering technical presentations and developing reports
• A proven track record in developing business within a relevant engineering field
• Experience of development and implementation of integrity management systems
• Educated to a minimum of degree level in a relevant engineering discipline

Skills Preferred:
• Ideally have experience in pipeline and plant integrity management and risk analysis
• Previous experience with the development and implementation of pipeline and plant risk algorithms
• Experience of leading a project team
• Knowledge of inspection techniques including in-line inspection
• Technical background in development and implementation of risk based inspection systems
• Work in accordance with API 580/581/584
• Experience of working with integrity management software systems
• Development of Technical and Commercial Proposals
• The role is full time (37.5 hours per week) and permanent
