We have an amazing opportunity with our print & customer communications client for an experienced Risk Manager to join them on a permanent basis.

Day to day responsibilities:

* Ensure consistent and regular identification, monitoring, testing and validation of risk

* Engage in perpetual risk evaluation, across all landscapes that could potentially affect our client and ensure that any external threats are considered and reported in a timely fashion

* Consider risk at all levels from enterprise to individual and include costs, legal and environmental factors as well as operational and infrastructural outcomes

* Monitor and collect data, to report on operational Client Risks and internally reported Risks and ensure that process exists and that actions are documented and closed

* Develop and implement a single risk register and report to the Board on a monthly basis

* Report and communicate risk in an appropriate way for different audiences, so that they understand

* the most significant risks and their accountability

* Be responsible for the execution of Operational Compliance Risk Management framework

* Keep updated with legal, regulatory, operational changes where there is any likelihood of Risks emerging within the business and recording them on the global risk register for monitoring and remediation planning

* Provide support, education and training to staff to build risk awareness within the organisation

* Assist with contract review of new and existing contracts from a compliance and risk perspective

We are looking for someone with:

* Good understanding of business processes and associated risks

* Knowledge of ISO 31000

* Good understanding of the ISO standards like ISO 27001, 9001, 14001

* Excellent administrative skills and thoroughly well organised and accurate in day to day environments

* Experience of an operational environment

* Good experience in working with business insurers and legal teams

* Ability to articulate business risks at various levels within the business

* MI reporting skills to senior management

* Ability to identify and escalate issues to senior management effectively

* Should be customer service oriented and able to build relationships at all levels

* Demonstrated ability to develop recommendations with supporting information

* Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
