Risk Practitioner
3-4 month contract
Harwell, Didcot
Security Clearance: BPSS
Key Accountabilities
Support the enterprise risk management activities under the supervision of the company\'s risk manager
Work closely with the project managers to develop risk controls and mitigation actions per the respective project scope for circa 25 projects+
Maintain and provide administration support of the risk register if needed
Provide support to the project managers to ensure risk information correctly recorded in company risk register
Regularly follow up with the project and function teams to monitor and review the risk mitigation action closeout, and provide support when appropriate
Other task-based responsibilities, i.e. potentially risk reporting, project risk workshop facilitation, risk analysis report, etc.
Minimum Requirement:
Experience in a highly regulated environment such as public sector or nuclear experience is preferable
Ideally a member of a professional body such as Institute of Risk Management
Strong communication skills and facilitation skills
Stakeholder engagement experience and ability to manage internal relationships
Good I.T skills, able to use MS packages and work with unfamiliar systems
