Risk Reporting Analyst

KEY RESULT AREAS or ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Responsible for the production of monthly Credit Risk reporting including monitoring of risk appetite, portfolio trends and early warning indicators to enable the Executive/Board to make informed decisions.
  • Responsible for the amalgamation and compilation of all other risk appetite metrics across other risk types (eg operational, conduct and compliance)
  • To support the annual refresh of the Bank\'s Risk Appetite metrics.
  • Pro-active analysis of credit trends and emerging risks
  • Deliver bespoke analytics to aid the front line business in understanding their overall risk profile
  • Work with Conduct and Compliance and the Head of Operation Risk to deliver consistent MI across all risk types.
  • Support the bank wide Data Integrity program, improving the quality and consistency of data the bank uses in its reporting
  • Develop and maintain strong, collaborative and constructive relationships with the 1st Line businesses and functions to support the delivery of business objectives whilst maintaining effective controls
  • Understanding internal and external data, infrastructure and reporting requirements and coordinating these with effective analytical solutions
  • Provide support to the broader Risk and Compliance function where required

Qualifications/Experience

  • Highly numerate with understanding of credit risk and reporting.
  • Advanced level proficiency using Microsoft Office tools (particularly Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Any experience of SAS or similar programming language would be desirable.
  • Excellent written and presentational skills.
  • Knowledge of IFRS9 would be an advantage but not essential.
