JOB OVERVIEW

The Sales Director will be responsible for helping to shape and deliver the mid to long term growth and expansion strategy for the company. Liaison and relationship development with external clients and internal colleagues at all levels are core to the role.

Specific focus will be on rapidly accelerating the client and therefore business base within existing and new sectors, leveraging active and additional networks, top talent, best practice and exemplars of performance.

The role will further drive the rapid development of business within the existing client base, through sophisticated client relationship development and engaging communication of our consistency and excellence in our delivery, partnered with innovative solution-orientated approaches. An additional area of focus will be to support the development of brand reputation in the marketplace as the industry leader for delivering compliant and pioneering security and risk management services through trusted business partner relationships.

Finally ensuring commitments made to clients are specific and deliverable, ideally exceeded!

Day to Day Duties and Responsibilities

* Develop a persuasive story for our offering and performance that connects and engages clients and leads to opportunities for business development and growth

* Develop the mid to long term company growth strategy and associated sales plans

* Develop stretching and achievable budget forecasts

* Manage and deliver the sales operations, identifying areas of success and areas of challenge, improving efficiencies and performance

* Establish and develop engaging and consultative relationships with existing, new and prospective clients

* Establish and maintain the positioning of Guardior as the preferred Security and Risk Management partner for clients

* Deliver compelling thought leadership, which is relevant and actionable

* Build team capability and invest in growing a first-class business development function

* Establish and develop a deep culture of excellence with a focus on effective and rapid problem solving

* Align the team collaboratively around a focussed vision, strategy and goals

* Build a strong talent pipeline that will strengthen the offering

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

* Proven experience as Sales Director or Commercial Lead within a security business

* Outstanding record of new business development wins delivering growth

* Demonstrable experience in developing strategic and commercial business plans

* Thorough knowledge of market changes and forces that influence the company

* Strong understanding of finance and measures of performance

* Familiarity with management best practices

* Excellent organisational and leadership skills

* Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

* Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
