Senior C# Developer - Risk Systems/WPF/WCF/Banking sought by leading investment bank based in the city of London.

Essential experience

• Solid working experience using the essential technical skills
• Implementation of enterprise risk reporting solutions
• A good grasp of the risk data characteristics of Fixed Income cash and vanilla derivative products, equity products, and repos from an IT perspective, and communication around these with the business.
• Extensive experience working within an Agile team
• A broad understanding of Fixed Income, Equity and/or Futures processing through investment banking experience

Technical Knowledge/Skills

Excellent knowledge with proven implementation experience of:

• C# and .NET framework (version 4.5 or higher)
• Design Patterns and SOLID principles
• Transact SQL and SQL Server (2012 or higher)
• Good knowledge with applied experience of:
• Unit and Integration testing skills, including preparing test scripts and execution
• NoSQL databases (MongoDb)
• Competent knowledge with proven implementation experience of:
• Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)
• Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
• Excellent technical analysis and investigatory skills
• Ability to work with both business and IT staff in a pressured environment
• SCM tools: JIRA, Bamboo, Git
• Rx, TPL
• Messaging and working with an Enterprise Service Bus
• Wide knowledge and experience in peripheral infrastructure (eg Scheduling and Monitoring tools, desktop application deployment and testing)
• Experience of Bamboo or equivalent CI platform
• NuGet
• Experience with the Telerik Toolset
• Experience working within Agile projects and Scrum in particular
• JavaScript/AngularJS

Qualifications

• Strong educational background with BSc/MSc in computer science or other numerate discipline
