An exceptional opportunity to be part of the BT Group Customer Billing - Credit Risk and Fraud Team, supporting and protecting the growth of the Consumer business with focus on all products from Mobile, Fixed Line, TV and Home Broadband.

Working closely with the BT Group Consumer Acquisition Risk team, and the wider Credit Risk and Fraud department, supporting both their Senior Manager and the Head of Consumer Applications in delivering a suite of reports and analytics to support the tracking of Credit Risk and departments KPI\'s aimed at improving the overall new customer acquisition strategy, fraud management and customer order journey. The role holder will build and evolve reporting capabilities to provide meaningful insight and analysis to help understand and manage the Fraud and Early Churn exposure across the product line to optimise risk reward balance.

Support the implementation of Acquisition Credit Risk & Fraud strategy and policies by working with other areas across the BT Group and external suppliers.

What you\'ll be doing

• Management of all relevant Application Risk reports and analysis to ensure their production and scheduling to agreed timescales & specifications

• Development of new Application Risk reports through requirements gathering, design, build, stakeholder sign off and delivery.

• Enhancement of existing Application Risk reports & production of new Application Risk reports & MI through automation, layout, design, testing & reconciliation

• Provide specialist drill down analysis and insight to support their reporting in order to drive discussions, conclusions and tangible actions to improve Acquisition KPI\'s

• Input and support the tracking, forecasting and analysis of Fraud churn budget, including identifying root cause and trends

• Provision of ad hoc analysis and reports to support non BAU tasks

• Represent the department on projects of a strategic nature without close supervision & make recommendations for approval by line management

• Represent Applications Risk team on day-to-day reporting activities within Credit Risk and with external teams

• Monitor the adherence to all defined Application Risk credit policies, work with operational teams and direct and indirect channels to identify improvement activities and agree actions

• Input and support the definition and implementation of Application Risk credit policies

• Validation, management and manipulation of very large datasets to deliver automated and accurate reporting and analysis

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
  • Evidence of managing senior stakeholders and influencing senior management decisions
  • Experienced, flexible and driven Senior Consultant level analyst with a detailed background in building, delivering and evolving Acquisition reporting, analytics and dashboards
  • Excellent knowledge and use of SAS
  • Excellent VBA and Excel skills
