Your New Job

Working collaboratively with the Credit Risk Manager you will be responsible for the monitoring and development of the financial model as well as getting involved in monitoring of a number of other models within credit risk. You will be analysing model movements, segmenting to understand trends, highlighting areas which can be improved and challenging current approaches, always seeking to improve. Alongside this you will present monthly monitoring to senior stakeholders whilst communicating analysis and findings effectively to management and the wider team. As this is a growing business they are looking for a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to effectively coach and mentor their team of analysts, building capability and ensuring all areas of governance, risk and compliance standards are adhered to. You will also play a key role modelling the credit risk strategy, providing MI and insightful commentary based on evaluation, forecasting and impact assessment to drive continuous improvement.

Your Experience & Our Requirements

To be considered for this position you must come from an FCA regulated environment and have a passion for delivering commercial results through the effective use and evaluation of data. This would be an ideal role for someone currently in a credit or risk role looking to progress or looking to bring their experience to a growing business with a fast moving, people focused culture. Key skills required for the role include:

  • SAS/SQL and Excel experience
  • Modelling/Forecasting experience, preferably PD/LGD models
  • Problem solving capability
  • Stakeholder management
  • Project experience
  • Commercial focus

Experience in a relevant industry/role is essential, but just as important is a genuine passion for contributing to the business, our customers, and your colleagues.
