My client, a specialist UK based Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Hydrology, Drainage, Environmental Management and Air Quality, is searching for a Senior Flood Risk Consultant to join an established team based in Marylebone, London.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline including a BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering, Hydrology or Environmental Management and experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments for flood zones 1,2 and 3, Flood Estimation and Surface Water and Foul Water Drainage Strategies.

It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally and have experience completing Hydraulic Modelling using Tuflow or Flood Modeller and detailed designs using Microdrainage.

This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join a team of experienced Engineers to complete varied Sustainable Infrastructure and Environmental Projects for Private Sector Clients and Developers.

As a Senior Consultant, you will be supported to complete the following;

-Flood Risk Assessments for flood zones 1,2 and 3.

-Surface Water Management Plans.

-Surface Water and Foul Drainage Strategies.

-Detailed Residential Drainage and Sewerage Design using AutoCAD and Microdrainage.

-Drainage Area Planning.

-Natural Flood Risk Management.

-Hydraulic Modelling using Tuflow and Flood Modeller.

-Project Management, Team Mentoring and Client liaison.
