Senior Java Consultant, Risk & PnL - Leading European Investment Bank

My client, a leading top tier investment bank, are looking to hire Senior Java Developers on a contract basis into their Risk & PnL development group. The successful candidate will have excellent experience of core multi-threaded Java systems, with knowledge of DevOps technologies and data caching, and strong experience working in agile development teams.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a completely Greenfield Intraday Risk Management platform for one of Europe's leading investment banks.

Required Skills:

• Excellent Java skills
• Excellent knowledge of Multithreading and low latency
• Strong knowledge of DevOps/Continuous delivery pipelines eg Bitbucket, Ansible, Jenkins
• Ideally, knowledge of data caching/in-memory databases, eg GridGain, Apache Ignite
• Knowledge of agile methodologies

This is a 6-month initial contract role, inside IR35, offering competitive rates.
