We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Senior Risk Advisor to join the Risk & Compliance team based in London.

The main purpose is to provide second line challenge and guidance on the identification, assessment, quantification and monitoring of risk in Royal London Asset Management.


* Oversight of the implementation and management of the risk framework by the RLAM business
* Establish and maintain appropriate 2nd line risk management procedures
* Provide enterprise wide risk advice, focusing on: Conduct & Regulatory Risk, Operational Risk and Financial Risk
* Manage, control and ensure delivery of reporting to the business
* Conduct risk advisory reviews of 1st line activities
* Undertake 2nd line review and challenge of Risk & Control Self Assessments and policy self-assessments
* Ensure the adequacy of risk training provided across the RLAM business
* Assist in the development and content of the regulatory risk framework

Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

* Strong experience of Risk & Compliance within Asset Management
* Experience of working in a 2nd Line environment
* Ability to provide challenge and support to management
* Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills
* Ability to provide robust challenge in a constructive manner
* Solid analytical skills and the ability to exercise good judgement

Flexible and/or part time working may be an option for the successful candidate.
