Senior Risk Consultant - £50-70,000 - London - Rail/Infrastructure

We are recruiting for a Senior Risk Consultant to join our client's team working on major Rail, Highways, Energy and Infrastructure projects. Based in London, the role offers a salary of £50-70,000 + excellent benefits.
You will be working for a major international consultancy; you will implement or support the implementation of an integrated risk management framework with various clients. We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in a risk delivery role on major Engineering projects.

Key responsibilities include:
* Provide Risk advice to internal and external clients in a variety of market sectors at different lifecycle stages, including:
- Facilitating risk workshops and applying other risk identification techniques;
- Assessing risk (e.g. CAPEX, OPEX, schedule, revenue and reputation) qualitatively and semi-quantitatively;
- Quantifying CAPEX & schedule risk exposure using Monte Carlo simulation;
- Reporting and advising on risk exposure and risk response plans.
* Develop working relationships with client account managers and business leaders;
* Identify and help realise marketing and sales opportunities, especially with existing clients;
* Mentor junior risk consultants;
* Work closely with internal project teams (especially project managers, technical discipline leaders, planners and quantity surveyors) to recommend and provide Risk support.

Requirements and skills
* A bachelor's degree in a relevant subject.
* At least 5 years' risk management experience (preferably in transport infrastructure or energy market sectors).
* Monte Carlo simulation (of cost and schedule).
* QSRA/QCRA experience.
* Risk analysis software programs PRA & / or Safran).
* Chairing risk workshops.
* Risk management software programs.
* Good English verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong planning / organisational skills.
* Evidence of professional mentoring and / or coaching.
* Ability to interact with senior Leaders, as well as within client and partner organisations.
* Commercially aware.
* Awareness of recently introduced/ developing risk management practice.
* Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) experience.
* Asset Risk Management (ARM) experience.
* Using Power Bi to help visualise risk-related data / information.
