About the Role
The Senior Team Manager, Risk Analysis oversees transactions monitoring by leading a team of Fraud Analysts who review suspect transactions from portfolios worldwide. You will contribute to fulfilling the Worldwide Risk Analysis function's mandate of protecting the business from financial loss at the very first opportunity.

What you'll be doing :

  • Lead and manage a team who provide support to the jobholder and develop these individuals effectively utilising resources available
  • Identify acquired merchants whose card transaction activity represents a risk to Global Payments
  • Managing Risknet case reviews, ensuring all cases are worked in a timely manner and with sound judgment, following risk management policy
  • Conducting regular calls with other risk functions to discuss high risk cases flagged in Analysis, Investigations, Risk Controls, and Collections
  • Prioritisation of all Investigator cases
  • Ensuring all internal monitoring reports are fully effective and that fraud & credit risks are identified promptly and losses minimised
  • Reactive to the ever changing fraud trends and making recommendations to combat these
  • Maintenance and review of all Merchant Deposit Monitoring procedures
  • Develop and maintain Quality Controls

About You

  • Minimum 6-8 years experience within fraud/risk management including the ability to lead, manage and motivate staff
  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience
  • Proven experience working within Merchant Acquiring/Card Issuers
  • Knowledge of Card Scheme rules with particular reference to all aspects of fraud and risk
  • Ability to make well balanced judgmental decisions and manage highly volatile risk situations
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proven motivational and leadership skills and strong commitment to teamwork
  • Verbal and written communication skills at all levels
  • Strong decision making skills
