Technology Risk Analyst

Up to £65000 plus bonus, excellent pension and much more

Job Duties
The Technology Risk Analyst (TRA), provides analysis, action and reporting on the systems and processes that support Risk and measures within IT & Transformation (IT&T). The TRA will ensure effective analysis is conducted, reported and tracked and managed. The TRA will participate in ensuring best practice is adhered to and to evolve methodologies, processes, tools and techniques to drive maximum value in the delivery of effective Risk plans for IT&T in alignment with Business needs.

Principal Accountabilities:

1. To analyse and report on the performance of suppliers providing Asus Data Security Management (ADSM), both internal and external, align to the Group IT Risk policy
2. To prepare quarterly reporting across all suppliers providing ADSM assessed against the IT Risk Assessment Criteria
3. To ensure suitable preparations for various Operational meetings such as IT Risk Committee with an appropriate IT Risk Log, and material risks are appropriately escalated to the Operating Risk Committee (ORC) and Regulatory Risk Committee (RRC)
4. To support Risk and BCP Manager in ensuring IT risk and controls are aligned with regulatory and compliance requirements and to L&G Group IT standards
5. Provide business continuity analysis capability for the IT&T team through a clear approach, regular reviews and defined rehearsals.
6. Ensure that the principles of Conduct Risk are embedded into your day to day operations to deliver good customer outcomes at all times. Ensure that all business processes and internal controls within your role are designed and performed in a way that delivers good customer outcomes and demonstrates effective management of Conduct Risk

Skills Required
Degree educated- desirable but not essential
Prince2, Project management and Agile qualifications - desirable but not essential
PROSCI/Adkar Lean & Six Sigma & change qualifications? - desirable but not essential
Regulated Industry background preference
Risk management experience with track record of effective management & reporting
Experience of analysing, reporting and managing risk plans in line with structured business frameworks across complex geographical / functional matrix organizations.?
Proven track record of business opportunities to drive Risk plans for delivery of large, complex, change and technology initiatives
Technology appreciation and awareness and Proven background in adapting to trends and openness to new ideas
Track record of building effective relationships to ensure approved agreed reporting and delivery plans
Ensuring analysis to support for Risk confidence across all levels with technical and non-technical audiences?
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail with demonstrated ability to work independently focusing on priorities, and managing a high-volume of tasks, deadlines, requirements, and decisions
Collaborative worker who freely shares their knowledge and experience?
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully engage and influence a broad range of individuals across various internal and external businesses and support functions
