Trade Risk Analyst

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

Pre-transaction consultation

* Being pro-active, taking initiative and having discussions with business departments during the formation stage of transactions.

* Analysing transactions from a risk management point of view, highlighting key risks and making suggestions regarding the most effective way to mitigate key risks.

* Dealing with enquires from business departments and other corporate departments.

Handling credit applications

* Supplementing business departments' applications via clear and concise written analysis to Senior Management.

* Ensuring that business activities operate within group rules and approval is granted in a timely manner.

Post-transaction monitoring

* Review customers' ageing, collections and credit capability.

To develop risk management knowledge in business departments and other offices in EMEA & CIS.

* Knowledge sharing with business departments via on the job training, seminars and workshops. Encouragement of best practice via empathetic communication. Development of the quality standard of business departments' risk management mind-set and applications.

To improve risk management operations

* Make suggestions and proposing solutions for the improvement of credit risk management operations.

Who we are looking for

Degree qualified in Business, Economics or Accounting.

* Solid credit and trade risk analysis experience gained in a trading company or financial institution for at least 2 years up to around 5 years.

* Experience liaising with and advising stakeholders at various levels within a multinational environment.

* Experience in working under pressure with strict deadlines.

Language requirement

Fluent English is essential
