Due to the continued growth of our business, we are now seeking high calibre, multi-skilled and committed Legionella Risk Assessors/ Service Engineers.
This is a great opportunity for experienced individuals within the water treatment Industry to join a fantastic, expanding and fast paced company.
You will be predominantly working on projects in London and the surrounding Counties, however nationwide travel is also required. Our Head Office is based in Camberley, Surrey.
The applicant must have attended an approved Risk Assessment Course, ideally City and Guilds and at the same time must have previous relevant and significant experience working within this role and within this industry.
In addition to the above, the successful Water Hygiene Risk assessor candidate must have:
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package and computer skills.
* Have good client facing and organisational skills.
* Be fully conversant with the water hygiene industry and legislation.
* Have the ability to multi-task.
* Be flexible with regards to travelling.
* Hold a Full Driving Licence.
Water Hygiene Risk assessor Key Role Will Include:
* Carrying out Legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 risk assessments - ACOP L8.
* Compiling schematic drawings, as well as producing final documents and reports required by clients/customers.
* Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measures through to quotations, and carrying out such works based on the risk assessments.
* Carrying out monthly temperature testing and water sampling.
* Closed system testing and showers/spray insert cleans & disinfection.
* Carrying out survey of water systems and supplies as per ACOP L8.
* Collating information and writing up accurate reports.
* Carrying out work in accordance with the company\'s procedures and standards, Health & Safety, legislation and procedures.
* Building and maintaining a good rapport with clients and management.
In general, the successful candidate will need to be flexible, reliable, have good work ethos and have good working knowledge of commercial and industrial water systems, supplies and water regulations governing these and have the aptitude to complete risk assessments in more detailed content and within the necessary timelines
