Working with businesses requiring specialist Asset Finanace solutions, the successful applicant will have great relationship, asset finance and business development skills and a strong knowledge of the East Midlands area.

If this sounds like you, we have an opportunity available for an Asset Finance Director. You'll have experience in developing strong relationships with Asset Finance clients within the financial market and skills in both business development and customer based relationship management.

In the Asset Finanace Director role you'll be responsible for:

* To become a primary point of contact for customers requiring Asset Finance products and attend customer meetings with and without the Relationship Director as appropriate, especially where the lead product is Asset Finance.
* To assist in the production of applications for lending including where necessary the extraction and interpretation of financial data and reports from potential and existing customers, preparation of balance sheet analysis and all supporting documentation.
* In the Region covered by the Business Centres, to support and tie into the development and maintenance of a network of introducers in the professional business community.
* To support the preparation and implementation of a comprehensive marketing programme providing professional input on the Asset Finance product offering.
* To understand the needs of customers and prospective customers in depth, and to work with them to find effective solutions to their business issues assisting the Relationship Director and taking the lead where appropriate.
* To assist the Business Centres extend and develop business with existing customers, aiming for an average of 2 products (including both core and others) and for a primary banking relationship.
* To support the origination of new customer relationships via Asset Finance products but only where there is a real potential to develop a core product set of lending, current account, deposit, and cash management.
* To effectively liaise with Relationship Directors in ensuring the widespread promotion and take up of the Asset Finance products throughout the Region.
* To be involved in the preparation of credit line facility requests for new and existing relationship customers.
* To ensure the effective management of the existing portfolio of customer transactions, supporting customers and retaining business.
* To review impaired and defaulting accounts for Asset Finance lines and liaise with customers and Relationship Directors and report accounts accordingly.
* To help develop other support staff so that they have the opportunity to achieve the necessary skills to deliver basic asset finance products and solutions directly to their customers and be able to introduce more complex deals into the Business Partner.

To succeed in the Asset Finance Director role, your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

* Experience as an Asset Finance provider, and the ability to demonstrate broad knowledge of all aspects of this as it relates to the target customers and to provide advise in funding a broad range of assets into different industry sectors.
* Experience in a lending environment.
* Experience in a supportive relationship management role providing Asset Finance to companies of turnover greater than £5m, and in driving the credit analysis for such deals is required.
* Has developed an acknowledged presence in the Region, demonstrating an ability to deliver tailored solutions to customers
* Has demonstrated an ability to build and maintain a network of established customer relationships capable of delivering regular ongoing business levels commensurate with the annual sales targets associated with this role.

Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 plus benefits

Location: Nottingham, Lincoln, East Midlands Flexible
